MEET KAYLA

First things first, hey, my name is Kayla. I’m the lead photographer here at KC photo + film. I’m 24 years young and live just outside of the city!

When i first started photography,I was blown away of how captivating it is to be behind the camera! I LOVE love and it brings me so much joy that I am able to make a living by capturing just that. I’m serious, that mushy lovey stuff is seriously why I do what I do.

One of my favorite things to say in life is “your memories matter”. It’s been a saying that I’ve started implementing in my life and business over the last couple years. Whether you are doing a session for fun, or celebrating a certain time in your life, I truly believe that your memories deserve to be documented.

MEET CHRISTINA

Hey there, I'm Christina! I am lucky enough to be the associate shooter + second photographer for KC photo + film LLC. Kayla and I met through her internship 3 years ago and we have been inseparable since. Im 31 years young + live out in the country with my husband, dogs, and chickens.

I fell in love with taking pictures as a kid, but not truly realizing the importance of photography until I was older. I take photos because time doesn't ask permission before it leaves. Because moments don't warn you before they become memories.

I find so much joy in capturing the beautiful moments, big or small, throughout peoples lives for them! It truly makes my heart SO happy!

"Kayla is amazing. She has an eye for what turns out to be such beautiful photos. She is great if you have never had professional photos taken also, by telling you how to pose. After one week of her being married, she spent 8 hours with us capturing our big day. One thing we worried about was that our church had bad lighting for pictures and wasn't decorated nicely, but we trusted Kayla with our once in a lifetime event and they turned out perfect. She can fix anything! When it got down to the wire and the ceremony was about to start, I started to panic because I was not ready, but Jada (Kaylas second shooter) jumped in and helped me curl my hair. Kayla treats her clients like family and we really appreciated that. She is friendly and great with people, and still professional. We even got our gallery back after only one week!! Photography is not a job for her, it is a passion and that is th type of person you want to capture all the moments you want to remember. We will always remember how perfect our wedding day was because of Kayla and one day we will show our kids how perfect it was. We highly recommend and thank Kayla Bell!"

Kayla was amazing!! We did both our engagement pictures and wedding with KC Photo and Film. They were great at communication along the way and provided us with some helpful suggestions for our wedding timeline since I didn’t have a wedding planner.

For the photos themselves, I am in LOVE with the pictures we got back. Kayla definitely paid attention to the inspiration we shared. We got an amazing mix of stunning photos of my husband and I, cute photos of us with our bridal parties, and super fun reception photos that really captured the emotions of the night. My absolute favorites were the sunset pictures that came out better than I could have imagined!!

Kayla is an amazing photographer and I would recommend her to everyone!
